A clever and bittersweet comedy World and Time Enough tracks the deceptively modest aspirations of a twenty-something couple as they grapple with love and morality. Narrated by David, an affably nelly friend, the film follows Mark, an HIV-positive radical artist, as he progresses from abstract sculpture to the dream of building a full-scale cathedral. His adorably cute boyfriend Joey hesitantly embarks on a quest to find his biological parents after an ugly coming-out scene with his adoptive parents. Together, they sift through the detritus of family obligations, HIV status, temp jobs and the unavoidable, inexplicable fact that, in spite of everything, they are a very happy couple.
