From the Golden Age of Comedy, Will Hay is one of the greatest British comedians of all time. A major star of the 1930’s, Hay relishes playing pompous, incompetent authority figures. His misanthropic antics have inspired many great funny men and never fail to raise a full-hearty laugh.

Ben Cutlet (Will Hay) is a bogus sea Captain who is tricked into taking command of an unseaworthy ship, the ‘Rob Roy’. He and two stowaways arrive on an island inhabited by cannibals. The radio set they have with them scares them into friendliness, but for how long? This movie provides the first teaming of Will Hay with Moore Marriott & Graham Moffatt, a lovable trio that would go on to make several classic British comedies.

GOOD MORNING, BOYS:

Dr Twist (Will Hay) is the Headmaster of a boys’ school. There the pupils spend most of their time gambling, betting and setting booby traps for their Principal. When a governor arrives to inspect the school he is appalled and demands that Dr Twist resigns. Defending his educational methods, Dr Twist is given a chance to prove himself. The pupils must take a public examination. After finding a French newspaper, Dr Twist shows it to his pupils with the result that they pass the test with honors. They are invited to Paris where they become entangled in even more riotously comic situations!
