Spun out of a "When Calls the Heart" holiday episode, this inaugural Hallmark Movies Now series offering starred Morgan Kohan and Jocelyn Hudon as Lillian Walsh and Grace Bennett, orphaned siblings separated as children-and, having reunited, resolving to operate a small-town orphanage in the 1910s Canadian West. Among the community's few welcoming faces were constable Gabe Kinslow (RJ Hatanaka) and rancher/veterinarian Chuck Stewart (Greg Hovanessian); Wendy Crewson co-stars. 10 episodes.
