Viva Puerto Rico follows these conservation heroes in three in-depth stories: the restoration of wild flocks of Puerto Rican parrots, the careful cultivation and protection of endangered Leatherback turtles that still find pristine beaches to nest on, and the rescue and rehabilitation of manatees in Puerto Rican waters. Through the Caribbean islanders' collective efforts behind breeding programs, rehabilitation, and protected zones, Puerto Rico's precious wildlife is making a comeback.
