Valentina López, "La Monita"; is a young professional boxer. Beto Ochoa is her trainer and boyfriend who puts her under pressure to win so he can make money for himself and his mother. When she gets a job as a secretary at the Sermeño group, a realty enterprise owned by an ex-car racer Mauricio Sermeño. She and Mauricio begin to fall in love. Mauricio s fiancé, Costanza, a selfish and mean woman, is determined to keep the two apart.
