When Mia, a successful psychologist, takes on Tammy, a sultry and mysterious new patient, she has no idea how her life is about to be transformed. In an ironic role reversal, Tammy takes control of their sessions and puts Mia’s own life under the microscope. Desperately yearning to regain a life of passion, Mia follows Tammy’s persistent advice and enters a forbidden underworld of sex- whereupon she encounters a dark and mysterious stranger. Abandoned by love and blinded by passion, she begins to lead a double life and unwittingly finds herself caught in a tangled web of sex, money and murder.
