Back in mid-'80s Richmond, punk bassist Dave Brockie met vocalist and practical effects buff Hunter Jackson-and the over-the-top outrageous horror-metal act they co-created has continued to perform and record ever since, through roster churn, controversy, and '90s-era flirtation with the mainstream.
