Sylvian Experiments

Something has gone very wrong.

A neuron scientist and her husband discover a black-and-white 16mm film in the basement of a dilapidated hospital. The film documents underground experiments on a part of the human brain called the sylvian fissure in an attempt to gain insight into the "forbidden territory" an invisible reality achieved through neither life nor death. Obsessed with this surreal concept, the surgeon tries to reconstruct what she saw by recreating the experiment...starting with her own daughters!
