In the remote Oregon wilderness, a 50-year drought combines with acres of dry timer threaten to become a "superfire," - the world's worst case of ravaging fury. With enough devastating force to rival an atomic bomb and the ability to burn ten square miles in only two minutes, it is a catastrophe no one could predict, let alone control. But with an entire town standing squarely in its path, it's up to an elite force of smokejumpers and tanker pilots to provide a thin line of defense from the fiery armageddon.
