In a romantic snowy village in the Alps, two young men are both courting the attractive Eva. She cannot make up her mind as she likes both of them but neither is a real great love. One day she receives a letter from Hong Kong that will soon change all three lives forever. Eva has inherited her uncle´s taxi and fast food business.

Our three heroes scrape together every penny they have with the help of their friend Britta. They fly off into a new land of wealth and luxury... but the taxi business turns out to be five rickshaws and the restaurants are not more than roadside stalls.

Penniless, they now realize that they must make a living to find happiness, and stranded in Manila there´s only one way...
