This Quinn Martin production was a big hit on ABC from 1972 and 1977 and revolved around gruff veteran detective and widower Lt. Mike Stone (Karl Malden), who's partnered with energetic greenhorn assistant inspector Steve Keller (Michael Douglas) to solve crimes in the City by the Bay. Co-starred Darleen Carr, Reuben Collins, Stephen Bradley, with Richard Hatch as inspector Dan Robbins replacing Douglas in the final season. 120 episodes on 32 discs.
