Stolen Sweets

Patricia Belmont is a perpetually bored heiress from New York with a stuffy fiancé and an overprotective father. She longs for the excitement she has never known in her life. On a whim, she decides to take a Transatlantic cruise. There she meets Bill Smith, a fun-loving insurance salesman down on his luck. The two begin a whirlwind romance, but upon their return to New York, Bill discovers that Patricia is engaged to be married. To make matters worse, her father is infuriated at his daughter for taking up with a man with a less than impressive bank account. The lovestruck socialite decides to win back the hurt Bill, even if it means being cut off from her father's millions forever.
