Americans may have lost interest in Western pictures after the 1950s, but their European cousins carried on the tradition of the Wild West horse opera in hundreds of productions over subsequent decades. The Spaghetti West explores the genre's rise and continued popularity over three decades with rare footage from dozens of classic Italian westerns, original trailers, and insightful interviews with cast and crew, including Clint Eastwood, Ennio Morricone, Ferdinando Baldi, Sergio Corbucci and Damiano Damiani.
