Snowshoe Trail (1922) While searching for a gold mine, Harold Lounsbury is lost in the wilderness. A year later, he is seen near Yuba, California and his fiance, Virginia Tremont, joins an expedition to search for him. She is thrown off her horse crossing a river, and the party's guide, Bill Bronson leaps in the river to save her. The savage current sweeps them far downstream and they are left stranded in a remote cabin. Surrounded by three foot snow drifts and arctic blasts, the odd couple are faced with a desperate struggle to survive.
