School Of Fear

This film plays, in places, like an Edgar Wallace film; in other places like a seedy JD movie filled with troubled youths.  At a boarding school for boys a firebrand student goes missing.  It’s theorized he may have met with foul play.  When his rich father also goes missing, thoughts of a murderous conspiracy abound.  When the cops arrive they find a bevy of suspicious characters, all of whom had motives for murder and are hiding dark secrets.  Tappert is the wily inspector who casts his net over the whole lot of them, while Fuchsberger is the professor who tries to play detective.  There are many intense scenes as the plot twists and turns before finally revealing the identity of the killer.  There are some sexually deviant moments in this film and there is a bit of nudity.  The shower room scene is pretty intense.  Fuchsberger and Tappert turn in their usual fine performances.
