In the expansive and treacherous wilderness of Africa, professional hunter Ken Duffield (Victor Mature, My Darling Clementine) is mourning the loss of his son to Kenyan Mau Mau rebels. When he is given the opportunity to take an eccentric millionaire, Sir Vincent Brampton (Roland Culver, Thunderball), and his fiancée (Janet Leigh, Psycho) on a jungle expedition, Duffield uses the opportunity to hunt down his sons killer. But will he put the hunting party at risk in his quest for vengeance, or will Brampton endanger them searching for an elusive lion no one has been able to track?
