Dr. Quincy (Jack Klugman) is more than just a medical examiner, he is a doctor with a keen eye for detail and has a knack for stopping foul play in it's tracks! Assisted by his faithful lab assistant, and terrible brewer of coffee, Sam Fujiyama (Robert Ito), Dr. Quincy often challenges the LAPD with his own findings and typically ended up winning the battles.

While shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation or NCIS are proof that forensic science and investigation makes for entertaining television, it was Quincy, M.E. which started the trend nearly 40 years ago!
