Danny Thomas returned to sitcoms in this effort which ran for two short seasons on NBC 1976-1977, portraying aging West Side general practitioner Dr. Jules Bedford, whose often crabby demeanor covered an abiding concern for his patients-and who was forever stiff-arming his physician son David (David Spielberg), who wanted the old man to join him at his swanky Park Avenue office. Shelly Fabares, Didi Conn, Dena Dietrich, John Byner, Mike Evans also starred. 27 episodes.
