With actual combat footage, this is a chronicle of war in the Pacific as seen by the men who fought it, from the Japanese sneak attack on Pearl Harbor to the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima. Originally aired in two parts on the U.S. Army´s documentary series The Big Picture, it takes you into the heart of battle with Allied soldiers as they recapture island after island from the Japanese Empire.
