Password Is Courage

Dirk Bogarde stars as celebrated war hero Charles Coward in the incredible-but-true WWII adventure The Password is Courage. It's every soldier's duty to escape. So says Charlie Coward (Bogarde), a British sergeant major in the notorious German prison camp Stalag VIII-B. Directed and written by Andrew L. Stone, a filmmaker known for his realism, The Password is Courage was based on John Castle's best-selling book and made with the technical assistance of Sgt. Major Coward himself.
