Panda Is Born / A Baby Panda´s First Year

A Panda is Born:

This special presentation documents two topsy-turvy seasons of panda mating at the Smithsonian National Zoo. Female, Mei Xiang, and her mate, Tian Tian, finally succeed, resulting in a panda birth. The new panda cub, named Tai Shan, grows into a cute and cuddly bear right before our eyes.

Baby Pandas First Year:

Our cameras are once again, given exclusive access to the Giant Panda Habitat at the Smithsonian National Zoo. Follow the first year of baby Tai Shans life and be amazed by the instincts of a first time mother. Were there for all the major milestones that mark this adorable cubs first twelve months.
