The MySpace/Facebook generation falls under the critical eye of writer-director Morgan Jon Fox (AWAY (A)WAKE) in this improvisational, documentary-style drama tracing the lives of several young people living in Memphis, Tennessee. By using a teenager’s video blog as a framing device, Fox is able to hone in on the troubles experienced by the adolescent’s diverse group of friends. From unplanned pregnancies to a disturbing brush with homophobia, a troubling break-up, and attempting to contend with the pain of losing a parent, each dilemma presents a monumental challenge that the teens must respond to and contend with in their own unique ways.
