Moving Out

Gino (Vince Colosimo) is a young boy coming of age in a Melbourne suburb who is struggling to reconcile his Italian heritage with that of his adopted homeland. In a slice of life that follows Gino through two turbulent weeks, the boy matures quickly as his family prepares to move to another suburb. Hassles with teachers, clashes with his father and outrageous antics with his friends as they plot mischief and chase girls, make Moving Out a tender portrait of youth not only Down Under, but the world over.
