McMillan & Wife - Season Six

Eight months after San Francisco Police Commissioner Stewart "Mac" McMillan loses his wife, Sally (Susan St. James), and their son in a plane crash, he's more focused than ever on his job and trying to put an end to his grieving.

The season is loaded with tension and mystery as Mac uncovers a con operation in Vegas, walks in on his own funeral after returning from a fishing trip, evades a hitman trying to kill him, solves a murder on his flight from San Francisco to Hawaii, finds a dead TV news anchor on his dentist's couch and , in the series finale, unravels the mystery of Vanessa Vale's suicide.

Join film legend Rock Hudson and big name guest stars as Commissioner Stewart McMillan uncovers crimes, avoids obstacles, gets the girl, and somehow always manages to come up on the best side of a bad situation.

Created by Leonard B. Stern (Get Smart) and written by Steven Bochco (Hill Street Blues), the show's mix of romantic comedy and suspenseful drama lit up television screens on Sunday nights as part of the NBC Mystery Movie lineup.
