Man Who Invented Christmas

In 1843, Charles Dickens (Dan Stevens) was coming off a string of failed projects, and faced with writer's block every time he tried to commit the holiday parable he'd barely envisioned to paper. As inspiration from his daily life fell into place, and Ebenezer Scrooge (Christopher Plummer) and his tale's other players manifested in his imagination, he'd render the most enduring seasonal narrative of all. Charming speculation on the creation of "A Christmas Carol" co-stars Jonathan Pryce, Simon Callow, Miriam Margolyes.
