Lions Are Free

The Lions in the film 'Born Free' became world famous. But after the filming what became of them? Bill Travers and Virginia McKenna, whose filming of 'Born Free' changed their lives and attitude to wildlife forever, were haunted by the loss of their lions. In this film Bill Travers travels back to remote Kenya to find the legendary George Adamson, some of the lions from Born Free and to witness Adamson's struggle to return his man-made pride to a free and natural life.
