Tired of hustling for nothing at a trendy NYC eatery, waitress and aspiring escape artist Lucy (Rosanna Arquette) connived with lingerie designer bestie Vivian (Eszter Balint) to knock the place over. Green card-craving Brit barkeep Monte (David Bowie) agreed to help, as long as Lucy married him. The job goes about as well as you might expect, with bizarre consequences to follow. (1991)
