When Melanie Schnurr returns home after losing her job, she is reunited with her brother Bo, a failed comedian. With nothing but time on their hands, they resume their favorite past-time, discussing inconsequential pop culture issues and their many grievances. Encouraged by an uncle to take their banter public, they decide their skills are undeniably suited for their own televised talk show.
