Together, the men endure hardship, tragedy, and disillusionment - all for the cause of the Mexican Revolution.

A leading figure in the Mexican Cinema of the 1930s, de Fuentes' most important films dealt with his country's history, particularly the Revolution. He was acclaimed for his use of moving camera, but his visual sense closely matches that of John Ford.

Included on this DVD is de Fuentes' alternate ending for the film, which is a rare piece of cinema censored in Mexico for many years. Vamonos Con Pancho Villa not only confirms the director's importance in this history of Latin American film but is also a cinematic adventure for the ages. (1936)
