He had a dream, she had a gun.

Wade Hampton finds himself trapped by responsibility and a lack of understanding by those closest to him. After fifteen mind-numbing years on a factory assembly line, hating his boss, the smoke, sparks and incessant grind of machinery, Wade has had enough. He walks away not only from his job, but his family and friends and all that comes with them. He simply leaves his old life behind with a dream of becoming an artist in Jerome Arizona, a town he knows only from a postcard.

On his way Wade meets Jane, a hard-rocking, enigmatic drifter who lives the life of total freedom that he has longed for. But as they speed farther and farther across the scorching Arizona desert, events snowball into an unforeseen crisis forcing Wade to confront realities he never could have imagined.
