If I Had My Way

When their friend loses his life in a job site tragedy, construction workers Buzz (Bing Crosby) and Axel (El Brendel) shepherd his orphaned daughter Patricia (Gloria Jean) to family in New York. Unfortunately, Axel winds up squandering Patricias small inheritance on a Swedish restaurant...and Buzz concludes their only chance is to try and make a go of it. Charles Winninger, Allyn Joslyn, Claire Dodd also star; Bing sings I Havent the Time to Be a Millionaire, Meet the Sun Half Way, and the title tune.
