There's no business like show business, and nobody knows that better than Navarro, leader of a team of law enforcement expatriates working in the L.A. underworld. The cases run the gamut from internal theft to the illicit activity of Hollywood's highest rollers. But when his biggest client demands that Navarro help a famous director end an adulterous affair, Navarro is backed into a corner. What begins as a simple payoff, soon turns to near tradegy, leaving Navarro to choose between preserving his career or saving an innocent victim's life.
