Charles Duprey needs a vacation from his life. Maybe some gambling...maybe some women...but his road trip to Reno turns into much more when he barely avoids hitting a broken down car and its driver, Hunter. Soon, Charles begins to regret picking up his new passenger when Hunter reveals that he has murdered a woman.

Panicked, Charles dumps Hunter at the next stop. Just when Charles thinks he's escaped the madman, the road ahead becomes blocked by a mudslide.
