Grey Wolves - U-Boats 1943-1945

This documentary details the end of the Atlantic naval war, which signaled Hitler´s defeat and the close of WWII. The deadly U-boat submarines had ceased to present such a deadly nemesis for the British fleet, though the production of the one-man Biber subs by the German Army could have presented a serious threat if the war had continued. These vicious little subs are examined, and the downfall of U-boat mastermind Karl Doenitz is chronicled. Doenitz succeeded Hitler as the titular head of Germany, serving for two weeks before his arrest for war crimes, representing the war´s finality in 1945.
