Gamblers

The story line was derived from an 1866 novel of the same name, written by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, where ‘high stakes’ is the name of the game and ‘winner takes all.’ The story unfolds, with professional card sharks teaming up on a luxury cruise liner hoping to swindle a wealthy aristocrat out of his savings. As the plot thickens and with stakes high, the confident swindlers are met with some surprising twists and turns that will leave the audience shaking their heads. (1970)
