Frank Capra's Why We Fight

This Oscar-winning series of wartime documentaries was created and co-directed by master filmmaker Frank Capra in coordination with the U.S. War Department. The "Why We Fight" films were made to give the homefront movie audiences a look at the origins, causes and justification for America's involvement in World War II. Four-disc set includes "Prelude to War," "The Nazis Strike," "Divide and Conquer," "The Battle of Britain," "The Battle of Russia," "The Battle of China," and "War Comes to America."
