Irrepressible, two-months-widowed Marilyn (Bette Midler) stunned college besties Lou (Susan Sarandon), Kitty (Sheryl Lee Ralph) and Alice (Megan Mullally) with an out-of-the-blue invite to stay with her down in Key West. They'd be stunned further as they were expected to be bridesmaids at her hasty nuptials... and, given that she'd stolen her late husband from Lou back in the day, the reception might be rocky.
