Every Day's A Holiday

Glamour icon Mae West stars as con artist Peaches ODay in the comedy Every Days a Holiday. Set in turn-of-the-century New York City, Peaches befriends Captain Jim McCarey (Edmund Lowe), a cop who forces her to leave town so that he will not have to arrest her. The clever Peaches returns transformed into a sultry brunette Parisian sensation known as Mademoiselle Fifi. After catching her show, crooked mayoral candidate John Quade (Lloyd Nolan) tries to close it down when Peaches demurely declines his romantic advances. Captain McCarey jumps in the race for mayor against Quade and the loyal Peaches fervently campaigns for him. Featuring her signature style of suggestive humor, Mae West shines in this fast-paced comedy classic.
