Fantasy and adventure come vividly to life as Thomas, who's planning to illustrate his father's book on the ancient Inca empire, falls asl--p near the fabulous lost city of Machu Picchu, deep in the mountains of Peru. In seven days, she must marry the greatest warrior in the land during the Festival of the Sun, but Thomas realizes that her spirit guide, a puma, has brought him through the centuries, from 1933 to 1490, to help her.
