Donner Party
Filmed at the actual site of the infamous 1846 Donner Party tragedy in the Sierra Nevadas, this historical drama focuses on the battle of wills between William Foster (Crispin Glover) and William Eddy (Clayne Crawford) as they find themselves snowbound in the icy wilderness and ravaged by hunger. The two clash over who should lead the party’s desperate attempts to survive while the group contemplates using fallen comrades as food.
