Devil's Cargo

Gambler "Lucky" Conroy is found shot to death in his mansion. A small-time hood, Ramon Delgado, arrives at the apartment of private-eye Michael Waring, The Falcon, and confesses to the murder. He asks The Falcon to take possession of a mysterious key, until after his acquittal. Delgado is sure that he will be found innocent, once it is established that Conroy had been romancing his wife. Awaiting trial, Delgado himself is murdered in his prison cell. The Falcon must figure out who killed him and unlock the mystery behind the key.
