Deserts And Life

Deserts are the most haunting of all the Earths landscapes. Sometimes we think of them as vast empty spaces that dwarf and test our human spirit, but that view is wrong in so many ways. Each programme focuses on a different desert (the Namib in Africa, the Gobi in Mongolia, the Atacama in Chile, the Thar in India, the Great Australian Desert and the Judean Desert in Israel) and shows the people, wildlife and culture of these incredible landscapes.
