Reed´s prime suspect John Barnes (Dourif), is placed behind bars and inexplicably provides Reed with clues to the killer´s next victims. With the body count rising, Reed´s abnormal obsession with the case is a blatant warning that something is wrong - that things aren´t what they seem. Is Reed hunting for a man who doesn´t even exist - except the mad, perverted fantasies of John Barnes? Could Reed himself be the murderer?
