In this intense, brutal drama, Dario Yazbek Bernal, Gael García Bernals younger brother, makes his film debut as a young boy who, with his sister, experiences severe trauma and abuse during a kidnapping.

From Daniel Birman Ripstein, a producer of The Crime of Padre Amaro, one of Mexicos highest grossing films, comes Daniel and Ana, a film about siblings who are both at defining moments in their lives. Ana (Marimar Vega) is about to be married, and Daniel (Bernal) is a teenager discovering his personal and sexual identity. Yet the harmony in their lives is instantly shattered when they are kidnapped and forced to have sex with one another on film. Nothing they have known will ever be the same again.
