Photographers Pat Marvin and Larry Burke are desperate to save the newspaper they work for. In an attempt to drum up business, they try to get a snapshot of socialite Cynthia Van Loan, who has never been photographed. Instead they catch her fiancé, Carl Pauling, with another woman. Anxious to get the picture published, the pair rush back to the office only to find their editor murdered. Pauling will go to any length to prevent his infidelity from being exposed, and it's only a matter of time before Pat and Larry find themselves staring down the barrel of his gun...
