Last Of The Unjust:

Three decades after the cinematic milestone, Shoah, Claude Lanzmann once again reorients our understanding of the Holocaust. The Last of the Unjust centers on Benjamin Murmelstein, the last Jewish elder of Theresienstadt (the so-called "model" ghetto), a figure despised by many of the ghetto's surviving inhabitants. Intercut with footage of Lanzmann himself revisiting specific sites in Vienna and the Czech Republic, the brilliant Murmelstein-sometimes excitedly but more often calmly-explains his actions and precisely defines his paradoxical role in history.

Hail Mary:

One of the most controversial films of all time by one of the world's most provocative directors. Hail Mary is Jean-Luc Godard's retelling of the story of the virgin birth, transposed to modern day and filled with the mundane aspects of any teenage girl's life. Punctuated by beautiful cinematography and a lush score, it is a surprisingly heartfelt and reverential film by a master filmmaker.

The short The Book Of Mary was originally released with the feature as a companion piece. Directed by longtime Godard collaborator Anne-Marie Mieville, it tells the story of the break-up of a marriage as seen through the eyes of the couple's young daughter.

Hangmen Also Die:

This classic is now restored in collaboration with the BFI and Pinewood Studios, and includes a one-minute sequence not available in the domestic release.

Beautifully shot by James Wong Howe and tightly scripted by Brecht and Lang in their only collaboration, this noir-like espionage thriller is set in occupied Czechoslovakia and revolves around the successful plot by the Czech resistance to assassinate Deputy Reich-Protector of Bohemia and Moravia "Hangman" Reinhard Heydrich and the hunt by the Gestapo to track down killers.

A whirlwind of power struggles, greed and deception ensues as Tourneuil's ascent is jeopardized by a hostile takeover attempt from American hedge fund manager Dittmar Rigule (Gabriel Byrne), erotic distractions from international supermodel Nassim (Liya Kebede), and adversaries with an agenda for destruction.
