In the tradition of Dragnet, this riveting crime series presents true tales of robbery and murder based on actual case files of the Los Angeles County Sheriff. Richard Travis stars as Sheriff Barrett, leading us through each tension-filled half-hour as he and his officers scour the City of Angels for lawbreakers. Joining him at the end of each episode is real-life L.A. sheriff Eugene W. Biscailuz, whose department worked closely with the producers to ensure the accuracy of the show's portrayal of police procedures.

ROAD BLOCK: A man desperate to see his wife and child escapes from prison.

THE GUILTY ONES: A couple is attacked by a gang of juvenile delinquents, but the husband refuses to press charges when he realizes his brother is a member.
