Sweeping action saga set during the Middle Ages and stars Mel Ferrer as Andrea Di Tula, a Polish soldier who must compete with brother Sergio (Jean Claudio) for the position of military commander. Andrea is granted the coveted promotion, and soon finds himself facing his brother on the battlefield when the treasonous Sergio helps an army of savage barbarians stage a brutal attack.
