When a passenger jet mysteriously explodes, killing the successful husband of Ida Galli, his million life insurance policy promises to ease the pain. Ida's windfall has not gone unnoticed, however, and as she travels to Greece to collect on her husband's insurance, she has more than one shadow. And when Ida, herself, is found murdered, and the insurance money turns up missing, everyone from the local police to the insurance agency send investigators to uncover the truth. One thing is sure, however-no one looking for answers is safe.
