Hardtack Hamilton (Chester Morris, The Big House) runs a U.S. Army training ground for bomber pilots near the Panama Canal, but he hasnt had a pilot like Harley Ames (John Hubbard, The Mummys Tomb), a reckless but qualified flyer who makes life hard for Hamilton. Ames causes trouble when he makes a move on Hamiltons woman, Susan (Harriet Hilliard, TVs The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet), and then gets into an accident, killing a pilot. Can Ames redeem himself with Hamilton and the squadron? Also featuring Lloyd Bridges (Airplane!), CANAL ZONE is a World War II action film filled with drama and romance.
